Graphic Designer, Learning Design

Training & Development team is seeking a graphic designer with digital design experience. This candidate will work with internal organizational stakeholders, for independently assigned projects aiding in the training & development initiatives for staff & customers.

Our projects include interactive experiences, eCommerce, mobile apps, digital marketing, identity & branding work, UX/UI, social media & email campaigns and more.

Candidate must have superior design thinking skills, mastery of color theory, layout & composition skills, typographic skills, and an understanding of responsive design principals.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a highly collaborative team and take lead on some projects
  • Follow creative direction, existing style guides and frameworks to create and iterate creative content across a variety of media
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Edit, build and develop learning materials including conceptualization, execution, and production
  • Design promotional collateral, i.e. print materials, email marketing, landing pages, powerpoint presentations, and social media
  • Create and present storyboards, wireframes and prototypes to provide design direction
  • Work with organizational stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the business challenges, project scope and objectives
  • Keeping abreast of instructional design theories, techniques, & trends to deliver cutting edge work
  • Develop concepts, storyboards, and write script content for various types of videos (explainer, promo, and interview style videos)
  • Learn and master eLearning tools including: Camtasia, Articulate Storyline or Captivate
  • Administer, troubleshoot and manage Learning Management Software (LMS)
Requirements:
  • An online creative portfolio
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in digital design
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Passion for bringing impact to learning through graphics design, video editing, and motion/animation
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Sketch, Wireframing software and InVision a plus
  • Expert level skills/knowledge of layout, spacing, visual flow, typography and color theory
  • Self starter with the ability to both collaborate with a team as well as work independently, self-manage and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • Strong language and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of ADA (American Disabilities Act) requirements for video and visual learning content
  • Great organizational skills and file management
  • Motion/Animation design experience for explainer videos
  • Ability to speak to the value of UX design - purpose, approach, and execution
