SEO Content Manager

Americaneagle.com is seeking an SEO Content Manager to strengthen and scale our SEO content practice across client accounts. This strategic and hands-on role combines content strategy, editorial leadership, team coaching, quality assurance, and AI-assisted content workflows. The ideal candidate has strong experience in SEO content strategy, copywriting, editing, coaching, and scalable content operations. This person will work closely with SEO Team Leaders, internal teams, and external partners to improve content planning, production, quality, and implementation.

Responsibilities
• Lead the development of Americaneagle.com’s SEO content practice
• Coach SEO team members on content strategy, writing, editing, and optimization
• Build scalable workflows for human-written and AI-assisted content
• Establish content standards, governance, and quality assurance processes
• Manage editorial workflows from ideation and briefing through approval and implementation
• Oversee SEO content quality across client accounts
• Coordinate internal resources and external content partners
• Collaborate with SEO, development, project teams, and third-party partners to improve content publishing and implementation workflows
• Use content performance insights to improve strategies and processes

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in SEO content strategy, content marketing, copywriting, editing, or a related role
• Strong experience developing SEO content strategies across multiple accounts or business units
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience coaching writers, editors, or SEO professionals
• Experience building editorial workflows, standards, and governance processes
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted content production
• Experience using LLM APIs, prompting, or scraping to support content creation at scale
• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, search intent, SERP analysis, metadata, and internal linking
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
• Familiarity with CMS publishing workflows

We offer a generous compensation and benefits package. The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$130,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
