Onsite Search Business Analyst

We're looking for talented Business Analysts to join our cross-functional implementation teams with a focus on supporting projects that include onsite search, product discovery, merchandising, and AI-driven search experiences. Our exceptional team has led to our company's incredible growth across the industries we service.
A Business Analyst is critical to linking our clients' business objectives with the technical capabilities of the implementation team. We need someone who is a team player with strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies, who can create a development-ready product backlog and help support project success from discovery through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of custom web solutions by owning the product backlog, ensuring all user stories are fully elaborated, prioritized, and estimated
- Research, gather, analyze, document, develop, and validate functional requirements for web solutions with project stakeholders
- Translate user requirements into system requirements, process flows, wireframes, mockups, and related documentation
- Understand how system capabilities can be used to meet client business objectives
- Facilitate requirement review and approval with stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between business experts and development teams
- Understand the needs of multiple stakeholders and current versus desired state business processes
- Research and stay up to date on current and emerging onsite search, merchandising, and discovery platforms
- Support the Sales team in helping prospects and clients understand service offerings and platform capabilities
- Provide analytical thinking and project issue resolution support
- Build structured approaches for decision making
Requirements
- Experience with at least one onsite search or product discovery platform such as AddSearch, Algolia, Bloomreach, Cludo, Constructor, Coveo, Hawksearch, or similar technologies
- Ecommerce and PIM experience is ideal
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Experience with software development projects
- Must thrive in a team environment
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to clearly document, test, and validate requirements
- Able to manage own workload, take initiative, and assume responsibility for tasks
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
- Ability to meet internal and client deadlines
- Experience with user interface designs and mockups
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a client-facing position
- Experience working with government clients is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile User Stories
- Preferred experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, or other project management software

We offer a generous compensation and benefits package. The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$140,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
