Inbound Sales Coordinator
Description:
Americaneagle.com is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Inbound Sales Coordinator to join our growing Business Development team. This is an entry-level role built for someone who wants to start a career in sales and learn the business from the ground up.
As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you’ll handle inquiries that come in through phone calls, web form submissions, live chat, email, and internal referrals. You’ll respond quickly, learn to qualify each inquiry, route it to the right Sales Representative, and make sure every handoff includes the context needed to start the conversation well. Along the way, you’ll get hands-on experience with Salesforce, sales qualification, and the full sales process, plus training and coaching from experienced sales and business development professionals.
This is a great fit for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and energized by talking with people. Success in this role is measured by speed-to-lead, qualification accuracy, data quality, and how well inbound inquiries turn into real opportunities. Strong performers will have a clear path to grow into a Business Development Representative or other sales roles.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries across phone, web forms, live chat, email, and internal channels, providing a professional and responsive experience
• Respond to new inquiries promptly, following established response-time standards
• Qualify inbound leads by asking questions to understand the prospect’s needs, project scope, timeline, and budget, using the qualification process you’ll be trained on
• Route qualified leads to the right Sales Representative based on assignment
• Write clear, concise handoff notes that summarize each prospect’s needs and conversation history
• Schedule and coordinate initial calls between prospects and Sales Representatives
• Enter and maintain accurate lead, contact, account, and opportunity records in Salesforce, including logging activity and keeping data clean
• Direct non-sales inquiries (existing client support, vendor solicitations, job seekers) to the right internal teams
• Follow up with leads who haven’t responded or aren’t ready to move forward yet
• Support sales operations projects and other team initiatives during slower inbound periods, such as Salesforce data cleanup, list building, research, and reporting
• Take part in ongoing sales training, shadow sales calls, and build your knowledge of our services and the digital industry
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 0–2 years of professional experience in a Sales or Business Development role, with a genuine interest in building a career in sales
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly, professional presence on the phone and in writing
• Strong listening skills and natural curiosity, with the ability to identify prospect needs and ask effective qualifying questions
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, keep information accurate, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven, with a coachable attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player who works well with others
• Comfortable learning new software; experience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus but not required
• Interest in digital marketing, web design and development, or technology is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor is expected
