UX Designer

The growing Americaneagle.com experience design team is seeking a talented, passionate and seasoned UX Designer to work on amazing client projects. This critical role works closely with UX leadership and our full experience design discipline.

As a key member of the team, you are responsible for helping our clients build a digital mindset and the success of their digital experiences. The UX Designer works within the experience design team and develops peer to peer relationships to provide guidance and analysis on our most challenging projects.

This UX Designer will require working experience and a strong knowledge of user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design and rapid prototyping. The work requires a true passion for UX and the ability to self-motivate. If you can manage a wide-array of complex information and develop innovative solutions, you may be an ideal candidate.


  • Articulate the value of research and "sell" stakeholders on a comprehensive research plan
  • Craft and lead UX research using both qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis
  • Evaluate the user experience of an existing digital product (usability testing, user interviews, heuristic evaluations, qualitative and quantitative measures)
  • Assess, refine, simplify, and develop clear and effective information and page architecture based on findings (evidence-based design)
  • Define experience architecture and navigation that serves as a blue print for the product's design system
  • Contribute to the creation of personas, user flows, journey maps, and wireframes and other relevant deliverables
  • Translate wireframes into pixel-perfect visual design comps
  • Prepare visual assets and specifications for developers
  • Create interactive prototypes for client demo and user testing purposes
  • Align business and user goals
  • Create and manage project timelines
  • Collaborate with internal team members to plan and execute on client proposals (UI Engineers, Visual Designers, Researchers, Content Writers, as well as Business and Technology Partners)
  • Participate in design thinking exercises and workshops with both stakeholders and users to help the team align on solutions
  • Working closely with a development and design team to implement design


  • 5+ years experience working in a UX research role
  • Strong knowledge of research and design thinking methodologies and IA
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, human factors and or HCI preferred
  • You are proficient in a variety of UX research methods and tools, including survey, usability testing (remote and in-person), card sorting, user interviews, usability testing - and know how/when to advocate for different methods
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
  • Working knowledge of User Centered Design Principles and Practice
  • Have a clear understanding and experience of design thinking methods
  • Experience presenting in front of groups, to clients, and via web conference
  • Ability to work within Agile/Scrum, XP, and Waterfall development methodologies
  • You're able to manage your own time, whether working on a team in a collaborative environment or working independently
  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams required
  • Knowledge of typical website measurement concepts and tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong attention to detail and QA abilities
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple internal and external initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Comfortable in a fast-pace environment
  • Knowledge of industry-standard UX and design software (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Experience working in an agency or consulting capacity, specifically in a client facing role is a plus
