Our dynamic, award winning creative team is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with digital design experience to work in one of our Chicago land area offices: Des Plaines (HQ), Chicago or Lisle. This candidate will work with Digital Strategists, Digital Marketers Project Managers and Front End Developers, for independently assigned projects, along with assisting other Designers in the Creative team for bigger projects.

Candidates must have superior design thinking skills, mastery of color theory, layout & composition skills, typographic skills, and an understanding of responsive design principals. Successful candidates will be comfortable and confident talking to senior stakeholders and understanding their preferences and will demonstrate an ability to take existing branding and apply it in a visually exciting way.

Candidates must be able to submit a portfolio of previous work with their application.

  • Committed to understanding our clients and their products and/or services
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team and take lead on projects
  • Follow creative direction, existing style guides and frameworks to create and iterate creative content across a variety of media and platforms
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Work closely with Digital Strategists, Digital Marketers, Project Managers, UX Architects and Front-end Developers to create highly functional, visually attractive, and usable user interfaces that are delivered within scope and timeline
  • Edit, build and develop responsive web pages or templates including conceptualization, execution, and production
  • Work with project managers to deliver work on time and within budget
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in digital design, with at least some of that time devoted to website design
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • An online creative portfolio
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Sketch, and InVision a plus
  • Expert level skills/knowledge of layout, spacing, visual flow, typography and color theory
  • Strong language and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret a creative brief
  • Proven ability to self-manage and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • A solid knowledge of interactive media production with technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design
  • Strong design and concept presentation (internal and external customers)
