QA Analyst

The QA Analyst will be responsible for providing granular effort estimates, creating, and updating test cases, ensuring risk mitigation, prioritization, and successful execution of all testing deliverables. This role will also act as a Business Analyst and gathering requirements from clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Find solutions, accountability for resolving issues, proposing solutions, and escalating to the appropriate person to the point of resolution
  • Understand technical problems and suggests process improvements
  • Review/Analyze business requirements and functional specifications for completeness of QA requirements and to define test requirements, test plans and test cases
  • Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing and prepare that data for the test cases
  • Evaluate the application and test cases to be automated
  • Ensure the quality of the solution by participating in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Assist developers and support staff in identifying and resolving problems
  • Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design
  • Create and keep track of the quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements
  • Document test procedures and findings
  • Produce test completion reports in summarized format to update the stakeholders on testing progress
  • Participate in the daily Scrum stand ups and provide updates on projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-operating system testing
  • eCommerce experience is a plus
  • Database knowledge, MS SQL Server preferred
  • Any experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus
  • Accessibility testing experience with a screen reader such as JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver is a plus
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment and on multiple projects at once
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
