Product Owner

Americaneagle.com is looking for a product owner to work with our team to design, develop and maintain massively scaling technology solutions. The product owner will be responsible for defining the product vision with our clients, backlog refinement, prioritization, and product demonstrations. The product owner should have a unique blend of business and technical understanding to effectively communicate with both the client and our development team. The product owner needs to be an excellent communicator with outstanding analytical skills.
Our company has a passion and track record for delivering responsive websites and applications while building a consultative, delivery-first relationship with our clients. This person will thrive in leading agile software teams and understand the nuances of design, development, and testing.
There is no typical day for a product owner as they spend time on different activities such as preparing for requirements meetings, organizing backlogs, participating in sprint planning, attending daily scrums, collaborating with the team, reviewing design prototypes, reviewing completed functionality, and more.
Responsibilities:- Create the client's vision in the product we are building
- Build and prioritize the product backlog
- Create clear acceptance criteria
- Requirements facilitations with our clients
- Participate in client demos
- Attend scrum meetings
- Advise the scrum team to meet customer expectations
- Ensure quality deliverables are produced
- Communicate a roadmap that displays the timeline and future capability of the product
- 3+ years of product, scrum, or project management experience ideally within a technology organization
- Ability to pick up technical and business concepts quickly
- Ability to create well-formed user stories
- Ability to meet internal and client deadlines
- Experience with agile frameworks, in particular, scrum
- Passionate about technology, innovation, and constant improvement / iteration
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
- Able to manage individual workload, take initiative and assume responsibility for tasks
- Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus
- Experience with CMS or e-commerce platforms like Sitefinity, Sitecore, WordPress, Kentico, Drupal, and BigCommerce is a plus
