Partner Marketing Director

Americaneagle.com is seeking a marketing-savvy, experienced, and strategic Partner Marketing Director to lead the partner marketing division of our internal marketing team. The primary role is to oversee the partner marketing program as well as coordinate, execute and manage the marketing activities as it relates to a subset of Americaneagle.com top tier strategic partner network.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive partner marketing strategies, overseeing a group of Partner Marketing Managers and Specialists, and driving mutual growth and success with our partners. This role requires a visionary leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in marketing. The Partner Marketing Director will work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure partner related initiatives work hand and hand with the overall corporate strategy. The Partner Marketing Director will also collaborate with the Partnerships team on the overall partner direction. It is crucial to understand the activities are being done and ensure these activities are generating an ROI that makes sense for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all marketing efforts related to assigned group of top tier partners
  • Develop and implement overarching partner marketing strategies and business/marketing plans to drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and partner engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Partner Marketing Managers and Specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key partners to create joint marketing plans, campaigns, and programs.
  • Oversee the execution of co-marketing activities, including events, webinars, and content creation.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of partner marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure alignment and support for partner initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director on overall strategy and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team on overall direction and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Handle partner marketing escalations internally and externally
  • Support partner directors related to marketing opportunities with top tier partners
  • Drive brand awareness throughout the top tier partner organizations, particularly within the executive group and sales organization, to initiate net new opportunities 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience handling their own responsibilities and priorities while also effectively managing, leading, and mentoring a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish as well as meet deadlines.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in technical services/web design/web development preferred
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional role with many dynamic teams
  • Proficient in Asana, Confluence, Microsoft Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
  • Ability to travel if needed
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing/advertising related role (at an agency, a plus!)
