Next.js Front End Architect

We're searching for a talented Next.js Front End Architect to join our team. This person will help with technical sales support, as well as leading implementations and being client-facing. We're always looking for talent to help us expand our expertise and grow our team here at AE!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of Next.js implementations
  • Oversee project throughout delivery lifecycle through: Strategy, Discovery, Development
  • Work with the business team to understand functional requirements and translate that into technical requirements
  • Participate in business development activities such as sales pursuits with prospects, estimate new projects and define scopes
  • Help maintain current continuous integration and continuous delivery for development, QA and live websites
  • Help maintain and set development standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE: Strong experience with Next.js features such as: App Router, Page Router, module federation, micro front ends, caching, AB testing using middleware, hydration, Next.js rendering strategies such as ISR, SSR, CSR, and when to use them
  • 8+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
  • 5+ years of experience with React
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS Frameworks
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Github actions for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practives
  • Experience with NextAuth.js for authentication and authorization
