Marketing Automation Coordinator

The Marketing Automation Coordinator is responsible for executing day-to-day management of email campaigns and related marketing automation, tracking tags & analytics, workflow integrations, using Pardot and Salesforce CRM.

We are looking for someone who is strategic but creative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has successfully executed complex email campaigns.

This role will coordinate and execute the day-to-day operational tasks, including content planning and briefing within a highly collaborative cross-functional team. This person will manage set-up and deployment of emails and oversee Pardot campaigns.

This person will proactively learn about prospect and customer behavior and engage in understanding reporting and customer analytics that influence email channel improvements. Keep current on email best practices such as data capture, relevant content, campaign analysis, and deliverability. The Marketing Automation Coordinator works with all areas of the internal marketing team to coordinate the planning and production of email campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement A/B testing for subject lines, content and design
  • Analyze test results and apply findings
  • Assist in managing the email production workflow including development of the email production calendar
  • Coordinate and optimize the design, content, layout, list segmentation and messaging strategies of email communications
  • Daily coordination, execution, proofing and communication of email campaigns
  • Test and optimize tactics to help drive email engagement optimization
  • Brainstorm with internal marketing team on new ideas and strategies for effective content
  • Understand how to measure, analyze and incorporate the use of behavioral data for optimizing email send and campaign performance to meet goals
  • Create and manage email calendar in collaboration with marketing team members
  • Create custom reports for email performance
  • Manage and track automated email campaigns, triggered sends and one-off email newsletter
  • Apply best practices for email campaign creative, content, testing, subject lines, and segmentation
  • Provide campaign level analysis and make recommendations to optimize email performance
  • Maintain deadlines, tactics and other business items in an organized, detailed manner
  • Review email creative submissions and confirm conformity to branding guidelines and email best practices
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 1+ years' experience with developing and deploying email journeys, automations and marketing campaigns
  • Highly creative in identifying consumer behavior and devising campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and convert
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required and excellent personal organization and task prioritization skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy; work well under pressure
  • Experience with analytics and generating insights from data
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Experience in campaign management, to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully under tight timelines
  • Experience using email template builders
  • Experience with Pardot a plus
