Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

We're looking for an experienced and analytical Manual Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong website and application testing background to join our expanding QA team. The ideal candidate has experience with manual testing. This position will start out primarily working on manual testing but quickly growing and helping out in multiple different areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Maintain functional, acceptance and regression test cases/suites
  • Collaborate with project team to develop effective strategies, test plans and release deliverables associated with testing requirements
  • Execute test cases and analyze results
  • Report and document technical defects
  • Maintain logs, track, and verify resolution of defects
  • Communicate test results to project managers and developers
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of QA testing experience
  • 1+ year of accessibility testing experience with a screen reader such as JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver
  • Solid experience using Dev Tools for inspecting browser errors and issues
  • HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET experience
  • Agile methodology experience with Jira
  • Experience working with web based applications
  • Experience developing test cases, procedures, and expected results
  • Working knowledge of test management software such as Zephyr
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to best meet departmental and organizational goals
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment and on multiple projects at once
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who is willing to learn new technologies and take initiative
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
