Junior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to handle all time and material engagement billings to ensure timely delivery of reports and invoices
  • Work with the Account Managers to ensure all month end overages are billed on time
  • Review and efficiently track contract terms and documentation (Investment, Budget, Dates)
  • Assist the Senior Financial Analyst and act as a liaison between our Accounting and Operations team
  • Audit and reconcile all billings, modifications, overages, billing issues, supporting documentation, email approvals, invoice cancellations and related items
  • Support the Senior Analyst in tracking variances from signed contracts
  • Help in analyzing the billing variance (forecast vs. actual) for all types of project engagements on a monthly basis and report to internal stakeholders
  • Work with Senior Financial Analyst in developing reports and improving internal processes with focus on standardization and optimization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience working as a Financial Analyst or similar title 
  • Experience working in a technology company is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver, results driven, analytical, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task  
  • Basic to Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
