Director of Training (Eagle Academy)

Responsibilities:- Train, support, develop, motivate, evaluate, mentor, and coach employees and leaders to achieve their full potential
- Establish 2021 budget, goals, refined KPI's
- Create a business plan covering the next 2 years
- Establish key partnerships to help sell the external training
- Coordinate the creation of training content by teaming instructional designers with subject matter experts
- Design training regimes to help employees overcome any current weaknesses and teach additional skills, to keep the company competitive and efficient
- As the business grows, help staff to build the team, including instructional designers, product developers, product managers and subject matter experts
- Act as a thought leader, consultant and project manager to development initiatives, consult with the business, manage change and drive operational excellence
- Identify and incorporate learning material, simulations and curriculum that best leverage the latest in adult learning theory
- Customize off-the-shelf learning material, as appropriate
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to meet internal and external deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at one time
- Previous experience with website administration or in the IT industry
- Familiar with working in a multi-cultural environment and accustomed to working with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Communication, teamwork, passion, pride, adaptability, proactivity, ownership, organization, resourcefulness and positivity are key
- Familiarity with the methods and principles for designing programs to teach, train and instruct both groups and individuals
- Experience with CMS or ecommerce platforms like Sitefinity, Sitecore, WordPress, Kentico and BigCommerce is a plus
