Director of Quality Assurance

We're currently looking for an onsite Director of Quality Assurance to help lead our established QA team. This person should have a passion for testing, a strong track record of growth, and great demonstrated experience. They will be responsible for developing, administering, and continuously improving robust QA policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities:
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise QA team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Design, develop and maintain KPIs that drive the overall testing efforts of the team and implement improvements as needed
  • Develop strategies that lead to implementations of regression, stress, performance, load testing and more
  • Act as a senior level escalation point
  • Promote and execute Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Maintain a robust test automation framework while creating, executing and maintaining test automation scripts, ensuring adequate test coverage throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Engage with all teams within the organization, including Human Resources and being proactive with communicating hiring needs
  • Manage and communicate QA schedules at regular intervals, highlight risks and wins to the executive team, and alert leadership of any QA scheduling conflicts
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing a test automation team while remaining very hands on
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Strong understanding of automated testing for web-based API such as Rest and web services
  • Ability to test from different perspectives and an eye for catching bugs
  • Experience in automation testing using Selenium/C# is preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with Load/Stress testing with JMeter or similar tools
  • Demonstrates skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews
  • Any experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus
