Digital Strategist - Data & Analytics

The role of our strategists is to understand the business goals of the client and devise an approach to meeting those goals through a digital implementation project. Digital strategists may also identify new opportunities for the client that arise as the result of a digital transformation and implementation.

In this specific role, the strategist will be focused on understanding the data and analytics requirements of clients, documenting those, advising on refining the set of data that is gathered and designing reporting systems to facilitate tracking and dashboards to present that information visually. This strategist will help us create an even better process for handling these client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in foundational strategy engagements to help understand client goals and design a solution to help them achieve those goals
  • Focus on how clients currently measure their digital activity and any changes or enhancements they should make in the light of their business objectives.
  • Design data/business information solutions for clients, based on their organizational objectives
  • Capture starting point or benchmark data to ensure clients can accurately measure project success.
  • Work with the strategy team to produce documentation covering all of this to clients.
  • Stay on top of technology and thinking in the data/business information arena and be the conduit for bringing new ideas and solutions.
  • Work with the business analysts to define the work required to implement any data solution, ensure it is captured in the work backlog.
  • Work with the whole strategy team to ensure that, in all our offerings, our processes, practices, documentation, recommendations and solutions meet the highest possible standards and provide the maximum amount of value to clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or similar field
  • 4+ years working on web (or similar) development projects with a strategic perspective
  • At least three years working on web data, analytics and reporting solutions
  • Knowledge of key tools: Microsoft Excel, SQL queries, Power BI, Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce Reporting
  • Knowledge of creating data visualizations
  • Data transformation and creation of calculated metrics when necessary
  • Knowledge of web content management systems
  • Experience working within Agile software development projects
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
