Building Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a reliable, talented Building Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at our Headquarters office in Des Plaines. has been named by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing private companies for the past eight years. We need someone to join the team who is able to help us grow and be an extra set of hands wherever needed.

  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
  • Assist with various maintenance tasks as they are requested
  • Tasks might include minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, doors, damage to walls, plumbing work, general upkeep, electrical repairs, replacing light bulbs, etc.
  • Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as mopping, trash removal, trash pickup in parking lot/grounds, surface cleaning, etc.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Clearly and respectfully communicate with coworkers
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of the team
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift heavy objects - up to 50 pounds
  • Electrician a plus
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some computer experience is required in order to successfully maintain tasks within the ticketing system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills
  • Limited travel to our other two Chicagoland offices (Chicago & Lisle)
  • Previous experience in maintenance or general labor and be skilled with various hand tools provides its employees with an energetic work environment and opportunities to further develop their skills.
